Smoke & Barrel is Central’s Texas-style smokehouse on Wyndham Street — slow-and-low brisket, Carolina pulled pork, and ribs from Missouri-imported wood smokers (including “The Beast”), plus a bourbon bar and a deep wine list (OAD Casual Asia #134, 2025). The ~4,000 sq ft room mixes industrial-chic timber, exposed brick, leather banquettes, and an open kitchen; entrance is on the Wyndham–Glenealy corner via Glenealy Street (opposite St Paul’s Church). Co-founded by Kinship’s Chris Grare and Arron Rhodes with chef Christopher Tuthill. Convivial and loud — great for a meat-heavy group date.
