Hong Kong Railway Museum

Hong Kong Maritime Museum

Hong Kong's story is inseparable from the sea. Hong Kong Maritime Museum at Central Pier No. 8 tells the fascinating tale of how a small fishing village became one of the world's busiest ports. Located at Central's harbourfront with stunning Victoria Harbour views, the museum features over 1,000 artifacts including ancient navigation instruments, ship models, and interactive exhibits that bring maritime history to life. University Museum and Art Gallery (UMAG)

The University Museum and Art Gallery (UMAG) is Hong Kong's oldest museum, established in 1953, and houses one of the finest collections of Chinese art and antiquities in the region. This hidden gem on the HKU campus offers a serene cultural escape with over 1,800 paintings and calligraphy works, ancient bronzes, and ceramics spanning thousands of years of Chinese history. Curiosity Corner by Studio MM

Established in 2023, Curiosity Corner by studio mm is a dynamic multidisciplinary creative space devoted to creativity, learning, and outstanding design. Located in the artsy hub of PMQ, this versatile destination offers immersive, hands-on workshops in art and product design for everyone from seasoned artists and aspiring crafters to curious children. The studio specializes in traditional craft workshops including cloisonné filigree, vitreous enamel, and raden (mother-of-pearl inlay) techniques. Workshops range from creating enamel copper charms and decorative coasters to jewellery boxes and glass trays. The instructors bring extensive expertise, with the product design instructor having 16 years of experience in business operations, having trained 500+ individuals and collaborated with companies like BNP Paribas and Walmart, while the art instructor contributes 10 years of design engagement experience with degrees from institutions like Savannah College of Art and Design. The space also features retail products and collaborations with local artists. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Blue House

The Blue House is a 4-storey balcony-type tenement block named after the brilliant blue colour painted on its external walls. It is one of the few remaining examples of tong lau of the balcony type in Hong Kong. The site was originally occupied by 'Wah To Hospital', also known as 'Wan Chai Kai Fong Hospital', which was listed in the 1872 Rate Book. The Blue House Cluster consists of three blocks of traditional shophouses constructed from the 1920s to the 1950s, namely Blue House, Yellow House and Orange House. The building has been revitalized as part of the Viva Blue House project, showcasing people-led heritage conservation. The ground floor now houses the Hong Kong House of Stories, a museum displaying daily life artifacts and heritage information. The venue is open Monday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, closed on Wednesdays and public holidays. Guided one-hour tours of the cluster are offered to visitors.

DX design hub

DX design hub is a creative landmark in Sham Shui Po operated by the Hong Kong Design Centre, fostering emerging design talents and fashion designers . The hub features different fashion and design zones, including The Design Museum, The Fashion-Pop, and The Gallery, each showcasing Hong Kong's creative talent . It serves as a platform for designers to showcase creativity and exchange ideas, with incubation spaces, exhibition areas, and facilities for creative collaboration . Art Shelter (藝術避難所) is an art studio located in Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong, offering painting courses, art jamming sessions, team building activities, workshops, and commission work. Axel Vervoordt Gallery

Axel Vervoordt Gallery was founded in 2011 by Boris Vervoordt and opened its Hong Kong location in 2014, following the success of its Antwerp gallery. The gallery is part of the renowned Axel Vervoordt Company, established by Axel Vervoordt, a passionate aesthete who began his journey at age 21.
