Sam Tung Uk Museum lets visitors experience authentic Hakka village life in this beautifully restored 18th-century walled village in Tsuen Wan. Sam Tung Uk (meaning "three-beam dwelling") is a rare surviving example of traditional Hakka architecture in Hong Kong. The museum recreates village life with period furniture, farming tools, and cultural exhibits — like stepping into a time capsule of rural Hong Kong before the skyscrapers took over. Must-sees include Hakka architecture, period rooms, and cultural exhibits. Opening hours are Monday and Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Admission is free. Closed on Tuesdays except public holidays. About a 5-minute walk from MTR Tsuen Wan Station Exit E.
