Hong Kong Brand Story: Inside Lee Kum Kee
- –
About
A kitchen accident in 1888 quietly gave Hong Kong one of its most recognisable flavours — oyster sauce. From those early days in Nanshui, Guangdong, Lee Kum Kee put down roots in Hong Kong and grew into a sauce maker with more than 200 products reaching over 100 countries and regions. This edition of "Hong Kong Brand Story", organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups Youth Exchange Unit, takes you onto the factory floor in Tai Po. Expect a look at the brand's history, how sauces are made, and how quality is kept consistent — a century-old name still finding room to innovate.
