ExperienceLocal Leisure Tour — Yuet Wo Sauce Garden 3.0
Founded in 1945 by the Pong family from Foshan, Guangdong, Yuet Wo is one of Hong Kong's last surviving traditional sauce gardens with over 80 years of heritage. It is the only sauce garden in Hong Kong that owns its own wine-steaming facility, producing a full range of naturally brewed soy sauces, vinegars, wines, and condiments entirely in-house — a rarity in today's industrialised food landscape.
Now led by its third-generation successor Jack, Yuet Wo has managed to strike a balance between preserving time-honoured brewing techniques and adapting to modern demands. The factory's sun-drying yard, where sauces are left to ferment and mature under natural sunlight, remains a centrepiece of its traditional production process.
With land resumption looming over the factory site, this may be one of the last opportunities to experience Yuet Wo's iconic production floor up close. As part of the 'Local Leisure Tour' series, this guided visit invites participants to walk through the sauce garden's production line, learn about the history of Hong Kong's soy sauce industry, and hear the story of how one family has kept this craft alive across generations. Each participant will receive a complimentary Yuet Wo sauce product.
Previous editions of the tour have been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the public, selling out quickly and drawing participants keen to connect with authentic Hong Kong food culture before it disappears.

ExperienceHenderson Land x Cj Hendry Flower Market
One of Hong Kong Art Month's most anticipated highlights arrives at Central Harbourfront — Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry brings her celebrated Flower Market to Asia for the very first time, proudly presented by Henderson Land as part of the property group's 50th anniversary celebrations.
Set inside a greenhouse-style pavilion overlooking Victoria Harbour at AIA Vitality Park, the immersive installation showcases Hendry's signature plush sculptures across 26 flower varieties — from chrysanthemums and narcissi to sunflowers, thistles, and violets — totalling over 150,000 individual blooms. Organised by Pen & Paper, the exhibition invites visitors to wander, touch, and photograph the soft, hyper-realistic floral landscape in a setting that blurs the boundary between sculpture and nature.
Two exclusive commissions have been created specifically for this Hong Kong edition: the 'Henderson Flower', marking the group's golden jubilee, and the 'Bauhinia', a plush homage to Hong Kong's emblematic bloom — whose organic form also echoes the sinuous architecture of The Henderson, the group's flagship tower designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.
Admission is completely free, though advance registration is required via the official event website. Quotas are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each registered guest will receive one complimentary plush flower upon entry, with additional blooms available for purchase at HK$38 per piece.
