This July 1 public holiday, two of Hong Kong's most celebrated cultural institutions — M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum — are throwing open their doors for free. It's the perfect excuse to spend the whole day immersed in world-class art and culture. M+ offers free entry to its special exhibition Lee Bul: From 1998 and a full range of other ongoing exhibitions — no reservation required. Just show up and explore. Hong Kong Palace Museum opens its thematic galleries (Galleries 1–7) free of charge, but advance online booking is required. Slots are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan ahead. ⚠️ Please note: Ticketed exhibitions are NOT included in the free admission offer.
