Founded in 1945 by the Pong family from Foshan, Guangdong, Yuet Wo is one of Hong Kong's last surviving traditional sauce gardens with over 80 years of heritage. It is the only sauce garden in Hong Kong that owns its own wine-steaming facility, producing a full range of naturally brewed soy sauces, vinegars, wines, and condiments entirely in-house — a rarity in today's industrialised food landscape. Now led by its third-generation successor Jack, Yuet Wo has managed to strike a balance between preserving time-honoured brewing techniques and adapting to modern demands. The factory's sun-drying yard, where sauces are left to ferment and mature under natural sunlight, remains a centrepiece of its traditional production process. With land resumption looming over the factory site, this may be one of the last opportunities to experience Yuet Wo's iconic production floor up close. As part of the 'Local Leisure Tour' series, this guided visit invites participants to walk through the sauce garden's production line, learn about the history of Hong Kong's soy sauce industry, and hear the story of how one family has kept this craft alive across generations. Each participant will receive a complimentary Yuet Wo sauce product. Previous editions of the tour have been met with overwhelming enthusiasm from the public, selling out quickly and drawing participants keen to connect with authentic Hong Kong food culture before it disappears.

A family of oversized, slumbering feline sculptures has settled along the waterfront lawn of the West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park, curled up by Victoria Harbour in a dreamy, purring reverie. As they doze, their tails sway gently; give them a stroke and you'll feel a deep rumble and a soft heartbeat beneath the surface. Every 'Art March,' Hong Kong immerses itself in a rich artistic atmosphere. While public attention often focuses on large-scale art fairs with magnificent works, the often million-dollar large-scale masterpieces can intimidate newcomers to the art scene. Located in Sheung Wan, 13a New Street Art Gallery takes an alternative approach, launching the new group exhibition 'Bon A Petite' from March 19 to April 5, 2026 (Wednesday to Sunday), presenting small original works and limited edition art toys from eight contemporary artists, allowing art to integrate into daily life in a more accessible and warm manner. 'Bon A Petite' breaks the framework of high art thresholds. The exhibition's name plays on the French phrase for 'enjoy your meal,' inviting viewers to enjoy art with a relaxed mindset as if savoring fine cuisine. With 'Petite (small)' as the core concept, it brings together eight contemporary artists from Japan, New York, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Hong Kong, featuring bite-sized, affordably priced originals and limited edition art toys. Curator Ruby Fung shares the concept: 'During major exhibitions like Art Basel, audiences are often overwhelmed by large-scale, high-priced works that are difficult to relate to. This exhibition deliberately selects finely detailed, reasonably priced works that not only easily integrate into modern homes but also possess the collectible value of originals, providing an elegant and pressure-free starting point for newcomers to the art world.' The exhibition offers an alternative choice for 'Art March,' with styles spanning from trendy cartoons and modern sculptures to traditional crafts, allowing aspiring collectors with limited budgets to experience the joy of collecting fine art.

The title evokes "joyful blessings amidst shimmering light and shadow" and marks a milestone in her thirteen-year creative path, from performer to contemplative artist. One of Hong Kong Art Month's most anticipated highlights arrives at Central Harbourfront — Australian hyperrealist artist Cj Hendry brings her celebrated Flower Market to Asia for the very first time, proudly presented by Henderson Land as part of the property group's 50th anniversary celebrations. Set inside a greenhouse-style pavilion overlooking Victoria Harbour at AIA Vitality Park, the immersive installation showcases Hendry's signature plush sculptures across 26 flower varieties — from chrysanthemums and narcissi to sunflowers, thistles, and violets — totalling over 150,000 individual blooms. Organised by Pen & Paper, the exhibition invites visitors to wander, touch, and photograph the soft, hyper-realistic floral landscape in a setting that blurs the boundary between sculpture and nature. Two exclusive commissions have been created specifically for this Hong Kong edition: the 'Henderson Flower', marking the group's golden jubilee, and the 'Bauhinia', a plush homage to Hong Kong's emblematic bloom — whose organic form also echoes the sinuous architecture of The Henderson, the group's flagship tower designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. Admission is completely free, though advance registration is required via the official event website. Quotas are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Each registered guest will receive one complimentary plush flower upon entry, with additional blooms available for purchase at HK$38 per piece.
Gallery tete is proud to present the second solo exhibition of Japanese ceramicist Rimpei Watanabe, following his debut showcase in 2024. This time, the exhibition centres around 'Chaki' — tea vessels — including teapots and katakuchi (spouted bowls), reflecting a deeper exploration into clay and the art of tea. Watanabe's first visit to Hong Kong left a lasting impression: the city's vibrant energy, the everyday ritual of yum cha, and the warmth of tea gatherings. A year and a half later, these memories have quietly shaped this new body of work. What makes his pieces so compelling is the undeniable presence of the clay itself — thick, rounded forms bearing the subtle traces of the maker's hands. Each piece, transformed through firing, carries its own distinct character and personality. This weight is not merely physical. It is the sense of calm when held in your hands, the warmth that travels through as hot water is poured, the gradual shift in sheen and colour with use — objects that seem to hold time still. Trust in the clay. Surrender to the kiln. No over-refinement. This quiet, honest approach radiates something rare within its simplicity. Beyond its Japanese roots, this exhibition reaches across to Hong Kong's own tea culture. Each expressive, one-of-a-kind piece invites you to come in person — to feel its weight, its warmth, and to find a place for it in your everyday life.

The exhibition, titled 'On the Waves Searching for Maternal Body Memory', extends Lam Jung Yi's research and creative context from 'Tapa Art Practice under a Post-Austronesian Perspective'. Tapa cloth serves as the core medium — a traditional fibre craft originating from Taiwan's indigenous cultural context, made by beating and stretching tree bark. Its production process is deeply embedded in bodily labour, natural environments, and community practice. When Lam Jung Yi encountered tapa cloth craftsmanship across different Austronesian regions, the recurring sense of similarity and cultural resonance led her to understand maternal memory as a state of continuous generation — through walking, connecting, and creating. Like a 'wave', it is a state of continuous movement, allowing cultural memory to be seen not as something statically preserved, but as something repeatedly evoked and transformed through materials, spatial perception, and lived practice. This solo exhibition invites creators from different fields to collaborate and exhibit under Lam's proposed creative context and methodology. Each work responds to the exhibition theme in its own independent form, translating tapa cloth from a craft context into the contemporary art field as a medium for thinking about cultural flow and memory formation.

A joint exhibition featuring nine artists, leading audiences into a pure creative world to discover the sincere artistic journey. The exhibition name originates from a piece of writing that inspired the artists' understanding of 'where the heart leads.' The artists collectively explore the mysteries of their inner selves, rediscovering their original intentions through this exhibition. The studio is not just a workplace, but a space for artistic exploration and self-discovery. Exhibition is free admission.

In this solo exhibition "LAMP," she focuses on this silent guardian in the room—the lamp. The moment the light is turned on, the expression of the space quietly transforms, and the atmosphere, temperature, and emotions flow and merge. This is not just a change in physical light, but also symbolizes the awakening and return of inner emotions, like a gentle invitation, leading viewers to shed the distractions of daily life and face their truest inner desires. Ayano Tamuro's creations are rooted in the pursuit of "safe spaces." She intricately weaves precious moments spent with family, fragments of travel memories, and personal wild fantasies into narrative-rich images. She excels at using oil paints and oil pastels, layering colors on wooden boards, and then using unique scraping and carving techniques to create vivid, soft textures and touching relief patterns. Her works are both vibrant and gentle in color, outlining a peaceful universe that belongs uniquely to her. In recent years, Ayano Tamuro has emerged in the art world, not only winning the highest award at the "Independent Tokyo" art fair in 2024, but also winning awards at the JK-G Art Competition and exhibiting in Seoul, South Korea, continuously expanding her artistic influence. Each work in this "LAMP" exhibition is like a lamp of memory, with colors, patterns, and objects from personal experience transformed into layers of visual and emotional dimensions, inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves. We sincerely invite you to enter the "interior space" created by Ayano Tamuro with light and color. May you linger here for a while, feel the subtle duality and definite warmth between the light turning on and off, and in dialogue with the works, hear the gentlest echo from the bottom of your heart.
Art creation begins with personal expression and ends with social resonance. This is not just an exhibition, but a profound dialogue between art and public welfare. Each artwork contains two intentions: one from the artist's creative soul, and one from your compassionate heart. We sincerely invite you to preview and participate in online bidding, allowing art to transcend geographical and time constraints to achieve good deeds.
