RACE TO GLORY at Cityplaza

Hong Kong gets its first large-scale Formula racing takeover — and Cityplaza is turning the mall into a race weekend. RACE TO GLORY, presented with beIN SPORTS and Now TV, mixes live Grand Prix broadcasts with driver-style challenges, F1 sims, and a Red Bull Racing zone you can walk straight into. On 2/F Atrium, a podium-themed screen over three metres tall carries four live races: the Heineken Dutch Grand Prix, Pirelli Italian Grand Prix, Tag Heuer Spanish Grand Prix, and Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix. On 23 August, Now TV commentators Daniel Chan and Ying On-bong call the Dutch GP on site. A Cooldown Room nearby borrows the post-race vibe from finish line to celebration. Race schedules can shift — check official announcements closer to the day. At 2/F Centre Bridge, the Training Grounds put you through Lights Out (start-grid reactions), a 270-degree baton reaction test, and a Tire Strength Challenge pushing a loaded cart. Finish the set and leave with a racing-themed sticker. Then climb into a beIN SPORTS F1 simulator built for Hong Kong fans — rotate through Zandvoort, Monza, and Baku during the run. CENTRESTAGE 2026

Asia's annual fashion spotlight returns to the harbour — and this year CENTRESTAGE is bigger than ever. Organised by the HKTDC and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), the 11th edition lands at HKCEC Hall 3 as a flagship of the third Hong Kong Fashion Fest, pulling together roughly 270 brands from 24 countries and regions for four days of runways, sourcing and street-level style discovery. Expect six curated zones — Craftsmanship, Contemporary, Urban, Athleisure, Circular Fashion and Accessories — plus more than 40 events and over 30 fashion shows. Headline moments include the new Hype² streetwear pavilion (with celebrity-backed labels among the mix), CENTRESTAGE ELITES with designer Kit Wan's *MUTANT//MYTHOLOGY* show, the fair's largest Korea pavilion with Lee Chaeyeon on stage on 4 September, a first-time Perfume salon for niche scent sampling, and Young Fashion Designers' Contest talent alongside talks including Rok Hwang. Industry buyers and the public can both walk in free — useful if you want the full fair energy without a trade badge. HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair 2026 (45th Edition)

Hong Kong's annual timepiece summit returns to the harbour — and this year marks the 45th running of the HKTDC Hong Kong Watch & Clock Fair. Staged at HKCEC alongside the 14th Salon de TIME, the twin fairs bring together manufacturers, buyers, designers and watch lovers under one roof for five days of sourcing, networking and discovery. The main fair spans the full watch and clock supply chain: finished watches and clocks, parts and components, packaging and display, machinery and equipment, plus smart and OEM timepieces. Featured zones include Pageant of Eternity (premium complete watches), the Cantonese Business Go Global pavilion, the Guangzhou delegation, and Green Solutions Suppliers. Last year's edition drew 652 exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, and more than 15,700 physical buyers from 95 markets — a useful benchmark for the scale you can expect in 2026. Salon de TIME runs in parallel as Hong Kong's luxury timepiece showcase, with independent brands, microbrands, sport watches and high-jewellery pieces.
