BARMINSKI 'Runway 51' Exhibition

Attention all passengers! ✈️👽 Barminski Airlines is now boarding at JPS Airport's 'Runway 51'! Get ready for the wildest art experience of the summer! The sensational American maverick artist Barminski is making his epic return to JPS Gallery, and this time he's gone absolutely bonkers - transforming the entire gallery into a full-scale 1:1 cardboard airport! 📦✨ Step into this intergalactic cardboard terminal where reality meets absurdity. You'll navigate through security checkpoints, departure lounges, duty-free boutiques, and even airport restrooms - all meticulously crafted from cardboard. This isn't just an exhibition; it's an immersive journey into unpredictable territories where the boundaries between art and everyday life hilariously blur. The concept? Mind-blowing: "What if extraterrestrial beings aren't distant visitors from outer space, but everyday commuters passing you by at the terminal?" 🛸 Barminski challenges our perception of the ordinary, turning mundane airport experiences into surreal encounters with the cosmic unknown. This is experiential art at its finest - playful, thought-provoking, and Instagram-worthy at every corner! Perfect for art lovers, creative souls, families looking for unique experiences, and anyone who appreciates art that doesn't take itself too seriously while making profound statements. The boarding gate opens on July 16th - don't miss your flight into Barminski's wonderfully weird universe! The artist himself will be present at the opening reception, so you might just get a chance to meet the genius behind this cardboard cosmos. 📅 Exhibition Period: July 17 - September 19, 2026 ⏰ Opening Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Tuesday to Saturday) 📍 JPS GALLERY (New Location), G/F, 88-90 Staunton Street, Central, Hong Kong 🎉 Opening Reception: July 16, 2026 (Thursday), 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM (Artist will be in attendance!) 🎫 Free Admission Boarding now at 'Runway 51' - your passport to artistic adventure awaits! ✈️🎨

Kai Tak

CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld

Europe's best-known live horse theatre finally lands in Asia — and Hong Kong gets the first stop. CAVALLUNA – Gate to the Otherworld takes over Kai Tak Arena with 54 horses, riders, dancers and a full theatrical set, turning the arena floor into a fantasy world rather than a conventional equestrian display. The Hong Kong Jockey Club is exclusive presenting partner and cultural host, tying the run to its 2026 Year of the Horse programme. On stage: Andalusians, Friesians, Lusitanos, mini ponies and more; the Hungarian Post (a rider standing across two horses while driving others), liberty work without reins, and trick riding mixed with original music, acrobatics and oversized scenery. The story follows young sorceress Meerin as she is driven from her people, hunted for her magic, and has to trust herself enough to step through the Gate. Event details: Dates: 8 September & 10–13 September 2026 Sessions: 8 Sep 7:00 PM; 10 Sep 7:00 PM; 11 Sep 3:00 PM & 8:00 PM; 12 Sep 2:00 PM & 7:00 PM; 13 Sep 1:00 PM & 6:00 PM Venue: Kai Tak Arena, Kai Tak Sports Park, 38 Shing Kai Road, Kowloon City Age: Suitable for all ages Tickets: HK Ticketing (official partner) https://hkt.hkticketing.com/en/#/allEvents/detail?projectId=50000001125001 ; Ticketflap https://www.ticketflap.com/cavalluna A rare chance to see this European touring production in Hong Kong — horses, theatre and spectacle in one night.
