A joint exhibition featuring nine artists, leading audiences into a pure creative world to discover the sincere artistic journey. The exhibition name originates from a piece of writing that inspired the artists' understanding of 'where the heart leads.' The artists chose 'Forest' (森) as the exhibition name, symbolizing a return to origins and cherishing the source of every piece of paper - reminding themselves that creation begins with the purest intention, not caring about good or bad, but that pure heart of creation. The artists collectively explore the mysteries of their inner selves, rediscovering their original intentions through this exhibition. The studio is not just a workplace, but a space for artistic exploration and self-discovery. Exhibition is free admission.
A lamp is the breath of a space, and a switch for memories. Japanese artist Ayano Tamuro continues to focus on "interior spaces" as the core of her creative work, constructing serene and warm worlds on canvas. In this solo exhibition "LAMP," she focuses on this silent guardian in the room—the lamp. The moment the light is turned on, the expression of the space quietly transforms, and the atmosphere, temperature, and emotions flow and merge. This is not just a change in physical light, but also symbolizes the awakening and return of inner emotions, like a gentle invitation, leading viewers to shed the distractions of daily life and face their truest inner desires. Ayano Tamuro's creations are rooted in the pursuit of "safe spaces." She intricately weaves precious moments spent with family, fragments of travel memories, and personal wild fantasies into narrative-rich images. She excels at using oil paints and oil pastels, layering colors on wooden boards, and then using unique scraping and carving techniques to create vivid, soft textures and touching relief patterns. Her works are both vibrant and gentle in color, outlining a peaceful universe that belongs uniquely to her. In recent years, Ayano Tamuro has emerged in the art world, not only winning the highest award at the "Independent Tokyo" art fair in 2024, but also winning awards at the JK-G Art Competition and exhibiting in Seoul, South Korea, continuously expanding her artistic influence. Each work in this "LAMP" exhibition is like a lamp of memory, with colors, patterns, and objects from personal experience transformed into layers of visual and emotional dimensions, inviting viewers to pause and immerse themselves. We sincerely invite you to enter the "interior space" created by Ayano Tamuro with light and color. May you linger here for a while, feel the subtle duality and definite warmth between the light turning on and off, and in dialogue with the works, hear the gentlest echo from the bottom of your heart.
Art creation begins with personal expression and ends with social resonance. This is not just an exhibition, but a profound dialogue between art and public welfare. Each artwork contains two intentions: one from the artist's creative soul, and one from your compassionate heart. We sincerely invite you to preview and participate in online bidding, allowing art to transcend geographical and time constraints to achieve good deeds.
